WHAT IS THIS THING

Fireworm. Bristle worm. One gets the size and thickness of a pencil. The other is blue on the tail end.

The better question to tell what type of worm it is.....

Dry rock or actual live rock start? Dry rock, more then likely a common bristle worm and poses no threat. Live rock, could very well be a fire worm and needs to be removed ASAP.

Hard to tell from the pics. A little whiter pics would help us, help you.

Hey guys, so I was feeding my corals today, and I see this really weird centipede like thing coming out of the rocks, anybody have any idea of what it is? all the pics I was able to get while it was out

Looks like a firework to me... but can't see the colour from the pics (too blue).. is it reddish in colour? Agree with the rest, if confirmed fire worm get it out of the system.

thank you, what do I do with it, it retreated under my rock, and it is looks to be like 4-5 inches long, how do I tell if it is a fireworm?
Guess what i cough just now while cleaning my rocks... a baby fire worm about 1cm.
