What is this, this is new

Looking at my empty tank. Have been letting sit just watching copepods. Noticed this on glass. Looks likes a jellyfish.

Yup, hydroid.

New tank? I wouldn't worry about it much. Most species of hydroid seem to go away on their own.

If it becomes a problem, there's medicines that will usually handle them, but as I said, I wouldn't worry about it unless you start to see lots of them.
