What is this thread like substance

I keep getting this on one rock in the same place. Anybody know what it is?

Hard to tell from the pics, but I suspect those hair-like things are coming out of a hole in the rock. There are some small, harmless worms that only have a couple hair-like feeding appendages and live in little holes.

Vermetid snails

+1 on the Vermetid Snails. They will multiply and eventually irritate coral. You can stop up their little door with epoxy or glue if you want to get rid of it.
