They're generally considered harmless filter feeders. However, their numbers can get extreme and bother corals if the food supply is in over abundance in your tank. Their numbers usually self regulate with how much food is available in the tank.Is it good or bad?

Unfortunately I am unaware of any natural predators. But I've been told a small dab of superglue on the end of the tube will starve them out and help keep their numbers in check somewhat. #reefsquad any predators or suggestions?Right now it’s only fish and live rock. If they start to get out of hand what is the best way to get rid of them
...I snip them off at the base or cover them with superglue gel.
So I recently added a dog face puffer to my tank and now all of these vermedit snails are gone. He got into my tank and went straight to work eating them.
