What is this tube thingy

It's not opened up right nwo since I moved it more into the light, but it looked like a small feather duster like thing.

Is it a good or bad worm? because it doesnt look to be doing anything other than filter feed

It’s just a filter feeder, but if it bothers you, you could just scrape it off and get it out….whenever I find them in my tank I like to leave them I think they look cool.

That would be a feather duster.

Yeah, a lot of people use the terms feather duster worm, fan worm, and tube worm interchangeably - regardless of what you call it, this is a feather duster worm tube.

oh nice, I kind of thought it was one, and this one doesnt have a brownish color but more of a white and pink
