What is this under my chalice??

Woke up this morning and saw it. Up close it looks similar to a hammer in shape, is clear and moves with the current. It was not there yesterday as the chalice usually stretches over that part... its on two spots (left side and little to the right). I dip every coral and remove plugs. Only change was a slight decrease in wave maker flow. Thank you!

Update: wondering if this is the underside of the chalice itself? Is this how a chalice grows and expands (newbie question)? It's stretching back over the two areas as the lights are kicking into gear. Most of it is now already back covered.
