I need to find another union just like this so I can connect the two sumps I have together. It’s a long story.
Does anyone know what kind of union this is and or have a link to buy one? I suck at this kind of stuff and being that 3” unions aren’t cheap, I don’t want to buy multiple.

Just to be clear, you don't simply want a (let's say 2") union, what you want to do is to use the male of the old union with the female of the new union, or vice versa. Is that right? If that is the case, every manufacturer makes their unions slightly different, so you'll have to actually match the brand if that is what you are trying to accomplish.

+1 on this. Very annoying that they don't use standard thread sizes.

This ^^^. Unfortunately. Is there any markings on the union that would indicate manufacturer? If not. You may be better off ordering new bulkhead(s) and union(s) and cutting off what's there.

Measure the ID of short piece of pvc pipe going into the union with a pair of calipers.(pic 2 looks like a slip union and slip bulkhead connected with a short piece of pipe).

Now you have 2 options.
Take 1/2 the union to a plumbing supply house you can find out what will match it.
Order 1 on amazon or some other internet site. See if it fits. If not order form another site and see if it fits......... repeat until .....
