What is this weird growth?

My glass seems to be getting this strange finger print like growth on yje inside. Any idea what it is?

Looks like snail tracks through the film on the inside of the glass. Does it go away when you clean the inside glass?

Yes it does. I do have snails. Why didn't i think of this! Thought it was maybe some sort of algae
