What is this weird work looking thing on my glass

Woke up and checked the tank and have this weird looking white shape on my glass. It looks like one continuous line.

Snail eggs, maybe cerith.

I had a ton of them a few months back, and thought they were cerith. Turned out I ended up with a million trochus babies in my sump.

What kinds of snails do you have?

Cerith nassarius conch.

I'll take any free snails starting the ugly stage so the more the merrier

Ps--baby snails will grow up, in your tank; leaving some sandbed area undisturbed when cleaning gives the little hatchlings a nursery, until they grow up to be "visible!"
The opinion that snails are not easily reproducible in captive environments, possibly originates from people with very diligent sandbed cleaning protocols! Not mine -- just lots of cute babies!

I did a little sand bed cleaning yesterday with my water change but I am leaving alot of diatoms for food. I'm happy to have free snails. I like them and they are great help with the next few months ahead

Even if they don't grow up, its a good sign that they are happy, and I'm sure other tank members will enjoy the free meal if they don't make it. Win-win.
