What is this white-hair looking stuff?

A couple of my zoa colonies and even a snail have grown this white-hair looking stuff. Any idea what is and what I can to remove it?

Looks almost like green hair algae forming, after I do a water change if I have any in my tank it will turn white

I don’t think it’s green hair algae. It’s been on one of my zoas for a couple weeks and has never turned green and doesn’t resemble it (but, I may be wrong). Here are couple better photos.

Anyone??? Surely someone knows what this is. Maybe if I put something funny like “Why is my coral growing white pubes?” I’ll get more views. Lol

One frag is about two months old. The other is about three weeks old. Forgive me but what does bin mean? I’m thinking a typo?

Digitate Hydroids or Harmless?

So I just found out (thanks to the help of some people here) that I have some colonial hydroids in my tank. I did some research and I think I can win the fight against them. But then.... I noticed these (see picture). Any idea what these are? Are they more pest hydroids? I am very...

They don’t look exactly like those photographs but doing some google searching I found other images that are similar. dang, I hate to “bin” (learned something today!) two frags and a snail. This stinks!

They dont have the structure of zanclea hydroids. Likely another type of hydroid.
They look like the ones I have on my glass

Now I know how to get a response from you forum perverts. I think the scientific community should start calling these Sea Pubes so we all know what to look for.
