Hi There,

Can someone help identify what this white line is on my clown fish. This is best picture i could capture, if you look close its a white line by her eye and then continues on back towards her tail.

Fire fish and pyjama cardinal are also in the tank. I do not see similar markings on either of those fish.

Thanks

Likely unrelated, but....one of my clowns was trailing a long white thread like something from his butt. Then he became notably lethargic, not eating. Searched here and seemed likely to be a parasite. Recommendation seemed to be Prazipro. So, off to LFS. Decided didn't want to set up the 30 gallon tank I HAD, so off to Petsmart to grab a 10 gallon. Got all set up, put both Clowns in it. Sort of to have a control (really cannot tell them apart). Since in the tank w the P he is much more lively, no apparent "strings" but is still not eating. Off to LFS to get some "flavor enhancer" (garlic). Still not eating. Anyway, all FWIW. If he survives he'll be an expensive clown! I take his survival as a challenge though!

The marking on mine does not look like a parasite, i am also leaning towards a wound like ndrwater mentioned above but i am by no means a pro in this hobby so looking for opinions. Good luck with your clown, hopefully everything turns out for you.

Possibly a minor wound, but would need a better pic to be definitive
i was thinking the same when i noticed it but i am not that confident in my opinion. I will see if i can get a better picture. Thanks
