What is this white stringy stuff on my acropora, video inside

I've seen this before on other acroporas but i dunno what it is. It keeps doing this too, the coral is growing very fast, and it isnt bleaching. I did a 1/3 of a water change like a week ago, mag is 1380, calcium is 400, alk is 7.5-8.

Only time ive seen something like this on acroporas is when the skin was melting. But i dunno, its either melting and healing super fast or its something else. I cant figure it out . here is a video.

Its that white stringy snot stuff on the coral its mainly all over the coral where it branches

yea but this isnt on the polyps is like on the skin of the acropora. Look at the video again youtube is taking forever to process so its better quality

@Sailfinguy21 - did you ever figure out what that is? I have that same stuff on a people eater cyphastrea. I saw it on an acro the other day, but no more.

Would love to know what it is, and especially if it is something to worry about.
