What sickness is this?

@Jay Hemdal is one guy I'd ask this question of. Great photos, and the erosion of the skin in clown and tang has me wondering what the experts will say.

How long have you had the fish?
Did you QT everything?
Add any new wet coral or fish lately?
@vetteguy53081

I got the fish 2 weeks ago along with a sailfin tang and a hammer coral. I have seen the sailfin swipe and nip at the blue tang a few times tho. The pictures make the clown look weird but he is heathly. I did not qt because the store I bought from keeps all their fish in copper tanks and they say that don’t sell sick fish, but idk.

Is it a large hammer? Could it be stinging it?

Copper, if done right, can limit protozoan issues, but won't do anything for flukes.

Sometimes, more background history is helpful, this post explains that:

There are several symptoms associated with them with this being mucus cones mixed in with ich and will require treatment with use of coppersafe and maintaining water quality
