Difficult to say. It is a new tank, and I do see some algae beginning to show up. It may be algae. Difficult to say without a clear, zoom shot.

Maybe diatoms, but it could be something else.
This makes sense considering I am 1-3 weeks in to a new cycle. Need a better filter too. Need to work on sump system.

Should I remove this or just let it go for now? Should I test the water? Should I add some snails? Thank you!

Likely diatoms. They consume silicates from the new rock, and will go away on their own. Part of the process. Welcome to Reefing! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

With diatoms starting to show, yes, it’s time to add a clean-up crew. Make sure to get snails that right themselves so they don’t end up dying, and not too big so they don’t hurt your corals.
