What is this!?

I just saw this for the first time in my tank. It seems to be eating algae off my back glass. Idk really how to describe it. I think it has a shell... Can't tell what might be shell and what is flesh... It's maybe 1.5in long.

Stomatella snail
I had to look it up. I've had limpet snails but these stomatellas look like limpets on steroids! He certainly is going to town on the algae on my back glass.

Funny thing is, idk how something so big either got in here without me seeing or can't in small and has been in here this long to grow so large that I didn't notice.

They're quick and usually only come out after lights out. Easy enough to miss :)
