What is this??

I've been dealing with what I believe to be flukes. But today as I was getting ready to do a water change I noticed a couple strange deposits on the sand bed.

I'm a noob here, so hoping you all can help. Is this food, waste, worms, something else?

I took a photo in tank, on paper towel, and in a glass of freshwater.

Note: I did feed blood worms last night, which is what the one piece looks like.....

Just looks like feces and uneaten food to me.
With flukes, you’re looking for visible marks on the fish and behavioral signs.
