Got up to check the tank and found this.
I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight knowing that's in my tank.
There's no way to catch it...

At ideas what this is?

His bottom side.

Looks like it might be a crinoid squat lobster. They are reef safe and are usually found hosting in crinoid feather stars in the wild. Liveaquaria sells them for $20 a piece so nice score.

I have a few of them in the tank. I always see them but can't catch them.

So I just looked up that lobster, I'm pretty sure that's it, mines not quite as colorful but same body and everything

Seriously doubt they would be a danger to fish since their max size is 2 inches

Please do some research. Max size totally depends of the species. And since the OP's came in as a hitchhiker, the species is unknown. 60 genera and some 900 species ;)

A lot of the time LA's "max size" is completely wrong.

That thing would undoubtedly eat a small fish. The key word is would, crabs/lobsters are opportunistic feeders. If they see an oppurtunity for a snack, they will seize it. No crab or lobster is 100% "reef safe".

A+++

I have done more research and they do stay very small. One site says .75 inches and another says up to 2 centimeters. This info was not from sales sites either but scientific databases. They are not a lobster but more closely related to porcelain crabs.
