What is this?

Hi folks,

I found this in my tank. See picture. It has shell on back, but like snail on the other side. When i took it from sand, it became a circle. This is
Bad or Good stuff?

Can you take a picture of the shell? Does the shell look like a human nail attached to the back as if it was glues on?

Look up Stomatella Snails.

Didn't know Stomatellas burrowed, and most folks assume they are something other than snail due to the lack of shell. And they do strongly resemble a little slug. The OP noted that it did look like a snail.

Hard to say without a photo of the topside.
