See if you can pull it off the rock for a better look, and grab a shot of the underside while your at it.

Looks like some sort of Limpet.

It is indeed a Keyhole Limpet.

Well I got it off the rock, but then dropped it in the sand. Not even a second later my serpent star grabbed it, and took it under his rock
