Sorry for the late responce here is a closer picture... it looks like to be a part of the colony ...the skin looks to attached with the other polyps

Could it be a polyp that didn't forum right?... I don't think so because it doesn't have the same colors as the other polyps.

It's not on the glass it's on the rock with the polyps. It is the same size of the other polyps it just looks different it doesn't move it just retracts.

Here are some pictures I found to be similar to the one on your picture. Hope this helps
it will be in the following order: Aiptasia anemone, Majano Anemone and Pseudocorynactis. All of them are know to be a plague and will sting your corals btw.

Looking at other pictures it looks to be some type of majano... but I'm only 75% sure.. either way it's got to go ... whats confusing me is the fact it's seems to be connected with the foot or body of the host coral .. it's like it's one with it..

I got some new live rock a few weeks ago and notice this growing. It looked like tubeworms when closed but now it seems like it could be aiptasia?

Does anyone have any more information on the majano zapper laser? I've been looking for some sort of specifications (i.e., wattage, wavelength, etc.), but information seems kinda sketchy.

I've noticed I have a few aiptasia or majano anemones growing on my live rock, so I'd like to try out the laser zapper before they get out of control :)
