This is something that I have seen growing on my live rock. I don't know if it's good or bad...

feather dusters. a tube worm. great clean up crew.
but if they have The 1/4 to 1/2 in head and soft tubes the do spread kinda fast. I love them for my sump.
Most of the smaller ones spread a lot more slowly.
 
They do retract, but I don't see a hard tube, although I think you may be talking about this.

Anyone know what these are? Good or bad?

One is a hard green pod looking thing with a fringe. Kind of reminds me of one of the insects that eats plants...
Think it may be some kind of macro algae...

this one also came on the rock, but has never gotten bigger or bloomed or anything. It seems to keep kind of a slimy beige coat on it.
