These pictures are horrible, but she wouldn't sit still. Anyway, now that she's coming out more I'm noticing these white things on my royal gramma. Very short worm-like shape, maybe? Definitely looks like something hanging on her.

Thank you!

Photo's are not good, but maybe @Humblefish or @melypr1985 could help.

I'd guess ich from your comment about having "white things."

It looks like ich, but its hard to be sure from the blurry photos. If its ich, the white things will appear to be just under the skin. If it's a worm (like Neobenedenia flukes) the white things will be crawling very slowly on top of the skin.

Pics are too blurry. Could be anything, though ich is top of the list of suspects.

No, there was no quarantine as the fish came with the rock and all went into the tank at the same time. They do not look like they are under the skin, they definitely look like they're on top of the skin.

A FW dip will cause at least some of them to drop off if they're worms. Or dosing Prazipro should eradicate them.

Guess you'll know in a week.

Could also have just been sand from transferring the fish.

Keep an eye for other signs, labored breathing, flashing or scraping against objects, more spots, etc.

What do Ich trophonts look like?

Invisible to the naked eye, but excess mucous forms around the insertion points causing "white dots" to be visible. However, these are not always in a visible area - sometimes only inside the gills. So, you must also rely upon behavioral symptoms (described below) to know something is wrong.

Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans):

Symptoms - Ich looks like salt or sugar-like “sprinkles” on the body or fins, usually more “here & there” as opposed to the fish being completely covered in them (see Velvet). Other symptoms include scratching on rocks/sand, head twitching and heavy breathing.

Treatment options - Copper, Chloroquine phosphate, tank transfer method, or hyposalinity.

They didn't look like that. I haven't seen them since, and I never saw anything on the other two fish. I'll continue to keep a close eye on things though. I'm just worried about them. I didn't even plan on having fish this soon, but they came with the rock. I'm just trying to make sure they are and stay healthy.

I swear the things on her looked like tiny worms. There were probably 10 or so, and then gone the next day.
