Hey guys what kind of coral is this and what does it mean when the tentacles start turning brown?

Tough to say exactly what it is. It looks kinda like a Gonipora. If the coral is turning brown it usually it light related or dying. What type of lighting are you running?

Tough to tell from the pic but maybe a frogspawn? Are the tentacles long or short? Browning could be lighting or a high nitrates issur

Lighting is an aqua san rise r60 I just put the coral in last night all other corals are fine

The tentacles are short but they said they can go out to about 2 inches

Green Torch maybe? If it is a Euphyllia you may want to watch for Brown Jelly Disease.

keep the area next to them clear. they have "sweepers" that sting.

Im not seeing them well. Its possible die off. maybe just unhealthy.
the last couple pics look ok.

yes. Click those links. Live aquaria is pretty good in thier write ups. Pers I like them for a good rough understanding of corals when im researching.

IMO galaxia the skeleton looks too thin to be anything else but lord knows I've been wrong!
I just got a frag of galaxia that looks very similar!
