What is this?

Yea, keep an eye on it and basic husbandry stuff. like said above.. Looks like there's a nem attached so you cant dip it.(iodine and salt water)
Just keep an eye on the coral and keep it cleaned off. if it looks like its getting bad or your losing the coral. get a piece off the rock (frag it dip it) best you can. Ive literally stuffed a stamp sized piece in a hole and had it cover the rock.

Actually the nem is attacked to the rock next tho it, and I don't really care too much about the GSP I have a lot of it. So I can take that rock out easily.

Oh then. If its easy, pull it and dip in tank water with iodine or peroxide. Rub the mat with your finger n clean it. You can do it at the next water change.
 
Whatever it is, just hope it wipes out your green star polyps before they over run everything in your tank. You'll be much happier when they are gone !
