Not sure what that is. But red slime algae is usually to do with the water you are topping up with or mixing salt with. I have found in the past that it is down to an old RO filter. In terms of getting rid of it, usually blasting it off with a turkey baster and catching with a net. Scrub the rock often and remove as much as possible manually. Increase the flow if possible to help stop nuisance algae from getting a foothold on the rock. Hope it helps. We've all had it at some point.

it's not even a centimeterAgreed on chemicleanworked once for me and hasn't been back since. How small is the pest? It's either a bleached paly or a mojano anemone.
If it's greenish it's a form of aiptasia. I can't remember the exact name but I had a lot of them in my tank cause I thought they were cool little anenome things. I kill them with aiptasia-x. Here is one in my tank. Update, its called Majano Aiptasia.

If soft and mushy, appears to be a sponge. Are they in lower light areas?
Mostly in low light but I have a few in more light intense areas. They are super mushy...I just touched one and the tube formation was disrupted. Nothing retracts or comes out of them. I was already leaning towards the idea of them being sponges I just haven't seen any clear ones before.
