Saw this colony looking thing on many live rock this morning. Doesn't seem to move around, but does contract slightly when touched.

Looks like it might be a Hydroid jellyfish but its hard to tell in the pic. Hydroids are small and harmless (at least this type, the brown ones can be pretty invasive) and they should clear up on their own. I have a few right now hanging out on my glass and back wall. See pic!

Its not a hydroid jelly. This is like a colony type formation with several "polpys" arranged around the formation.
(sorry for crappy pics, I keep telling myself im going to buy macro camera, but I always buy livestock/equipment instead)
