I KEEP GETTING THIS ON FRAG PLUS AND ALL OVER THE WALLS OF MY FRAG TANK.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS....IS IT GOOD, BAD? HOW DOES IT GROW IN MY TANK?

Its called Dictyota, some naso tangs and rabbitfish may eat it but its a tough one to be rid of. I know someone who had it and almost broke down the tank till finally a naso he got ate it.

I just read about it. Thanks for the link! I guess Ill put a small cleanup crew in the tank and well see. Its really easy to pick off but kind of annoying lol.

Man that was hard to get rid off. I had to manually remove that stuff or chip off the rock where its growing plus hooking up a phosban reactor to help. My cleanup crew never bothered with it.

Well its def easy to remove it, it comes right off...but it still keeps growing.:sad:

That stuffs bad news you get rid of it? Hope your not selling frags with that stuff on it, ive heard it can ruin tanks pretty quickly.

Its just build up on the side walls of the tank prob like an inch of it in the corner. Use to be a lot worst but little by little its going away. And frags are looking better by the day. :tongue:

Everything is Real good! Turned alot of it around. 100 times better!

I have some on my reef and I like it, pretty green and blues under the right light. It has never become a nuisance or spread to anything I dont want it on. Really easy to remove, and a potential export for nutrients if you dont mind harvesting it from time to time.
