Just dipped my new pipe coral and noticed a worm thing fall off it.
It didn't end up in my tank but was it good or bad?

I got 2 of them off when dipping. It's in the tank now so hopefully that was all of them. It was in seachem Reef dip for about 10 minsLooks like a polyclad flatworm, bad so have a look to see if you have more
Is there anything that can kill the eggsCheck it for eggs as the dip wont kill them
Ah ok. I'm sure it has legs like a spider/crab sort of thing, If it is a brittle star I'm not sure if I should dip again or just leave it?Your "weird spider-lookin' thing" may be a micro brittle star - gentle filter feeders and detritivores that are good to have around. The "white worm" ... may or may not be a worm. I've also seen some sponges look similar. It might also be the tube of a feather-duster, equally harmless.

RightBrittle star on the right or left?
Yeah dipping only got some worms off on original dip but doing nothing now to helpI usually dip. And try to get any visible bumps. Or colors off the peg and coral it’s self. scraping with a fresh razor blade
