I was looking at my sump yesterday and found this in my refugium. Does anyone know what it is and if it's ok to have in the tank?

I've never seen one like this in black, but similar in orange.....and yes, a coral eating nudi.

Thanks for the help. I don't know how it got in there because i don't have any corals. My tank was set up using dry rock.

Hitching in on the cleanup crew, perhaps?

It's for sure a nudibranch - but it doesn't sound as though you have as much to worry about from it as others would!

No cleanup crew yet. Tank has been up for 2 months. Had Chaeto from algae barn in sump. That's the only way I think it could have got in the tank.
