figures it would be a pest........ I couldn't be THAT lucky to randomly have a coral in my tank :squigglemouth:AIPTASIA!!!!
It's a pest, buy peppermint shrimp, Joes Juice, or a Copperband Butterfly (remember you risk butterflies eating coral as well)

shrimp are out of the question as I have a lionfish in the tank. is there a different butterfly fish I could get? Copperband's are beautiful, but I have read they are hard to keep for long.....I might try one if I can get an OK sized one less than $35ish... if it's too small it would just be an expensive snack lol

good to know, my LFS had a Kleins there yesterday(..or was it the day before....?? lol) for a decent price.Kleins are even better than Copperbands with Aiptasia!
I take it this is a FO? If so then you need a butterfly in there anyway![]()

What size is the tank? I wouldn't put a butterfly in too small of a tank. Aiptasia X has worked well for me in the past. A Kalk slurry can also do the trick but sometimes you have to go back a second time and shoot them again.
