Do you think something like a statin if delivered correctly would affect aiptasia/majano in the same way as fluconazole does to bryopsis?Majano anemone

Statins block the cholesterol synthesis pathways, present in all animals. Regardless of whether or not it was effective, there would be no guarantee that its effects would not extend to other corals, fish and crustaceans, if it were used for "treatments" directly in the aquarium.Do you think something like a statin if delivered correctly would affect aiptasia/majano in the same way as fluconazole does to bryopsis?

I realize that...my thinking was that you could remove all livestock and then possibly treat the tank eradicating all traces of the aiptasia/majano. Do you have any you might suggest trying?Statins block the cholesterol synthesis pathways, present in all animals.
