Any ideas, and how do I get rid of? Red string algae?

Oh no its the dreaded red string algae. You will need to rip your tank apart for sure now, or dose a ton of chemicals. No Not Really.
What is the stuff doing that has you wanting to remove it?
 
Looks like cyano. Get Chemiclean (i believe thats what its called)
Safe for all inverts and corals, but completely eliminates cyano. Just up the oxygen, remove carbon, and then water change 48 hours later
 
Ya I heard that chemi cleaner stuff kills just cyano. I also heard it causes dinos and hair algae. But I never tried it.
 
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Have you tried a few different types of snails that like to hang out on rocks? Mine love algae. You can always remove it by hand.
 
Yeah I have a decent CUC and all my parameters are OK. Honesty work has picked up and less time being kept on the tank. I guess it shows lol.
 
I was running chemiclean blue and stopped about a month ago.
