You're safe. Amphipods are a good thing. Free detritivores (Eats waste) and usually end up being food for your fish. Don't sweat it. You'll see lots of little critters and most are harmless.

It is a of pod and I love these guys. I forget the exact species but read articles on how amazing they are. I've carried them through my tank advances. Built them better refuge they've thrived in. Like ocean ants that clean the world.
