Hello,

What is this? My tank is very clean and this flares up every now and then. It is this cloudy/clear algae slime stuff. Any thoughts?

How old is the tank.

A little over a year. Tank was fallow for 105 days due to a velvet outbreak. Three fish went in 2 weeks ago. Also added dr Tim’s one and only a day before the fish went in to help out since it was fishless

A tank keeps eating even when empty. Nutrient levels can drop to levels that will starve bacteria and other organisms can take over. Dinos Chrystos etc.

The dr tims is a good idea , add fish slowly.
