Looks like a chiton. I have several in my tank that appear from time to time.

Curious - what coral was the frag plug ? And what kind of system it came from like it did have Sps or lps only or softies ?

Got 14 frags from a very respectable coral grower everyone knows the name. 3 of these were found while dipping. Didn't want to take a chance.

No, as mentioned above, they're good. I've never had an issue with any of the ones in my tank. Now limpets...that's another story.
