I do not know what type of algae this is and I don’t know whether it’s good or bad. I had my tank up for almost three months. If it’s bad how I should get rid of it?

Looks like it could be bubble agae or cyanobacteria. You need a few emerald crabs to help with that. If you try and remove it yourself, just make sure you dont bust one, or it will be a major ordeal to get rid of. Try suction to remove as much if it you can without breaking it.

The red film like algae covering rocks and sand?

To me, looks like cyano algae.

It should come off easily with a tooth brush, or just suck it up during your next water change. I wouldn't worry about it, it's a new tank. The first year strange things grow from time to time.

With respect to Mr. Merrell, I wouldn't add an emerald crab for it. Just suck it up or brush it off. A lot less to worry about.
