Finally came out for a pic just now. Lights are about off. Couldn't grab him unfortunately.

Reminded me of a slug. I tried to grab him from under a ledge just now. I couldn't get him lose. He got away.


Last week iI saw him come out of a hole briefly to spit out sperm or eggs. Then tucked back in the hole.
 
He was like a slug with a small shell on his back. All black
 
+1^ High alkalinity short term is not detrimental. I'd stop dosing and allow it to come down naturally. Corals need stable conditions most importantly. Dosing accurately requires true understanding of element consumption on a daily basis. When you return from your trip start to test Mg, Ca, ALk same time each day for about a week and pick up dosing the beneficial amount. There are many supplement calculators online to establish correct measurement for your daily consumption.

I think it's a stomatella which are harmless herbivores.
