Finally came out for a pic just now. Lights are about off. Couldn't grab him unfortunately.

I think it's a stomatella which are harmless herbivores.

Reminded me of a slug. I tried to grab him from under a ledge just now. I couldn't get him lose. He got away.


Last week iI saw him come out of a hole briefly to spit out sperm or eggs. Then tucked back in the hole.

He was like a slug with a small shell on his back. All black

+1^ High alkalinity short term is not detrimental. I'd stop dosing and allow it to come down naturally. Corals need stable conditions most importantly.
