fascinating, its part of oceanic biota but not so much aquarium biota/life forms. its destined to cure out/go away/die 99% likely, so Id take out rock and remove it ahead of time. its not a huge mass, so if you want to leave it to see if it remains its ok to try. no telling what that could be, never seen it in aquarium pics.

Agreed It’s a good pic of it. Options are keep it or remove it, I doubt anyone here could ID it but then again someone IDd a very rare moon snail egg sac the other day on here and wowed everyone lol

since that is such rare animals attached and associated growths it might be fun to keep the white stuff and see if it starts to rot or change, then remove
