What is this?

I bought a rock a couple months ago with this on it and this looks like it has a little bit of life coming back in it. The first picture is the whole rock and the second picture what is in question

Can anybody tell me what it is?

ok I got this today with a small frag. Does it look like an anemone? When you focus in on it it has bubbles on the tips.
