I’ve seen this before in my tank. They mainly come out at feeding time. I’ve had this zoa colony for a while and dipped it when I got it. Hard to see but it’s a single long white thread. I assume some kind of worm?

Check for a small tube at the base. Probably a vermatid snail sending out its “net” to catch food.
 
Thanks. I don't see a tube like you'd expect, but based on pictures, that's likely what it is. I'll have to look closer tonight. I've seen 2 or 3 of these in my tank at various points, though the other two were not on a coral.
 
Could be digitate hydroid if no tubes are present.
