if soft is cool mush,if has skeleton my guess is a maze coral or possible disk coral,no worries is def a coral and a nice one,touch it ,i'm courious if lps bone coral ,leaning to maze,nice score ,

Figuring out the hobby one coral at a time.
I'm thinking it might be fungia also.
Oral disk with small tentacles surrounding the oral disk. Op touch it, if it has a boney skeleton, probably fungia. If it's soft and squishy, probably mushroom, but I would bet 100$ it's a fungia(AKA plate coral).
Fungia are known to die, then all of a sudden spout out babies from the dead skeleton. Good hitchhiker either way, and a great freebie score!

Yes, after looking at some google photos it does look like a fungia, pretty happy about that.
they look like they can grow pretty big and the rock it’s on is very little. If I tried to move it could I damage it?

Fungia can move on their own, so will probably be able to move if its not too happy where it is

I would be willing to bet by the picture, it's attached to that rock, and moving it may damage it beyond repair.
If it doesn't like its current "home", it can move on it's own.
