What is this?

This has been forming on some of the higher rock formations in my tank over the last few weeks. Video shows one patch only. Not ever seen this before. This is a 150 gallon well established (4 years) reef tank. No new additions in 6 months or more. Thanks.

I can’t get the video to work either .mov or .mp4. Sorry. Was trying to show how it has parts that are loose from the rock and wave in the currents. Attaching a couple of still photos.

video works for me looks like some algae i have in my tank not sure what it is just always thought it was some type of algae
