Hi everyone. Over the last couple of days I have been noticing a slight sand discoloration in this spot. You can see that what ever it is is living under the sand and is pushing the finer particles of sand to the surface. It is a 75 gal,1.5 year old tank. This morning I noticed a tube of some sort coming out of the center of the fine particle sand pile. It might be hard to tell in the pics but it looks to me i might be made of sand? I haven't seen anything like this before in this tank. The only thing I have added in the last couple months is a couple jars of 5280 pods. Do pods build anything like this? I do have a 1.3 year old dwarf feather duster on the other side of the tank. I'm not sure how they reproduce but the tube looks something vaguely similar to it's tube.
