What is this?

Not sure if this is fish pop or a pest. All of our fish were quarantine and rock is mostly dry. Live rock we got from a very strict and careful fish store.
This is in my dry rock.

From what I see, it’s looks like poop. Doesn’t look like any pest I recognize. Hope this helps.

Ha my exact thoughts. That is why I was not sure.

Does it easily blow around? Could it just be a dead spot regarding flow that debris accumulated at? Maybe this is where the fish sleeps and poops there? Lol idk.

Oddly, some fish have a “litter box”. I have a blenny that poops in the same spot every day. Chunky logs.

Could be a dead spot. The wave maker is on the other side of my tank a good 3 1/2 ft away.
