I’m pretty sure I’ve asked this before however I was never given an answer. Of the diseases I know off - brook, velvet, flukes and ich.
All have similar visible signs aka flashing and white spots .

My fish have had white spots and have been flashing for nearly 6 months now. Hence I think velvet and brookaren’t in the equation.

secondly every time I’ve done TTM whatever fish it is - the white spots clear up no matter what state the fish was in. Assuming this makes it most likely ich?
That or it’s a nee disease that isn’t spoken about much that we know very little of.

here’s a few pictures for yourself to see - I have treated the fish multiple times but always half heartedly so wouldn’t even count it as a treatment

Ich. The best view is of the flame angel's tail and the blue tang from the side.

Ich.....

Management or fallow are your options to get rid of it completely.

Both sides have refers that have amazing tanks so its really up to you which way you decide to go.

I’m treating it as ich currently - TTM all fish and putting them into a sterile Hopsital tank - no contamination with ich infested waters. Once TTM is done I will treat for flukes just in case - then watch them for 8 weeks. Will leave my DT empty for 12 weeks just to be safe.
