What is this little creature?

Either a feather duster worm, or a small ball anemone. Leaning more towards feather duster.

Majano anemone . To me, they’re another aptasia.
some reefers like them because if their colors. I do not want an invasion, so I inject them with kalkwasser powder mixed into a thin paste and let them melt away

When I shine a light on him he closes up and is gone super fast.

Can you get one with white light. Feather or mojo no balls at the tips o don't think its a ball anemone

Now that I look at it. I don't think it's either one of those. It moves fast and seem to be living inside of the hermit crab shell.

Usually feather dusters retract fast. Still...I am no expert by no means and nor do I claim such title. If it is a feather I would leave it alone. If it is a Majano I would get rid of it. Not sure if mojanos retract fast.

Sometimes it is better to be safe than sorry, but that is a decision left to the owner of the system. Wishing all the best.
