Hey everyone,
New to reefing. Started adding coral to my aquarium about 2 months ago. The second coral I put in, the fish store said was a pulsing xenia but it never pulses and loves pretty intense flow. Their is no problem with it and I love what it looks like just wondering if it could possibly be some kind of LPS. I got a picture of it fully open and one of it closed up. Any ideas would be great. Thanks, Zach

Looks like a xenia to me.
Maybe too much flow is why it does not pulse.
Do you feed it Oysterfeast or R.O.E to see if it will feed/pulse?

I heard that xenia pulse to create their own flow so if they're in high flow (which is preferred), they will not pulse. Turn the flow off for a bit and see if it pulses!
