not really sure i’ve always owned a wrasse in my tank for the most part so i’m not very well versed with flat wormsIs it bad?
Wow thanks for the detail. Its an acoel flatworm AKA Ghost flatworm. Although not the one to panic over, still can be an issue as in numbers they can smother the base of coral blocking light which produces Zooxanthellae which is the food source for coral. To get rid of them . . . If there are a few them, siphon them up and assure you get them all. If there are many , a yellow coris wrasse, lunare wrasse, 6 lined wrasse or Melanurus wrasse will eat them.
You can also go chemically with salifert flatworm stop BUT assure you siphon up the dead ones which can release toxins.
Daily for the nest 2 weeks, look for signs of eggs from them which are really tiny
Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse, Ruby-Finned Fairy Wrasse, Cleaner Wrasse. What wrasses other than a 6line would be sufficient.
For BioCube- yellow coris and 6-line will be the smallest followed my lunareWow thanks for the detail.
Of the wrasses will they fit in the biocube 32? I read the Coris and some others may be too big.
I had originally planned on a 6line after I got my royal gramma in the tank because I read the 6line can be a bully if introduced too early.
Any other the others less "aggressive"?
If not maybe introduce them at the same time?
Thanks for the info. Off to get a wrasse!!!For BioCube- yellow coris and 6-line will be the smallest followed my lunare
Yellow coris decent didposition and Ive never had issues with 6 line despite some reefers having issues
