What Is This?

Found this on the tank glass this morning. It is about 3/16 inch. Tank is only stocked with a few LPS and softies along with about 15 various snails and 4 clowns. No live rock. Dry rock only. 280g tank that I just started stocking a month ago. Any ideas on what this could be? Remove it or leave it alone?

They tend to die out on their own over time. Harmless
