I just bought Chaeto at LFS and I was doing a hydrogen peroxide dip when I saw this thing f moving. Any ideas?

It moves and it’s long and kinda creepy (bad creepy...not good creepy)

Yes!! After you mentioned that, I looked it up and it is!! It’s a Phyllodesmium. It’s predatory and now it had a porcelain funeral.

I did, with a magnifying glass even. But I am putting this chaeto into a QT first.

Yea smart move. I ruined my tank off cheato
Flat worm was on it
Luckily they arent to bad and slowly going away but its devastating having everything you work for ruined by a dumb bug

That's a shame, looks like one of the briareum or xenia eating varieties, would have been awesome to breed one where e can actually get the food in abundance
